ADVISORY BOARD
Harjinder Singh has been on the advisory board of Antech for International Operations. He is also working with Datawind Limited for last four years, a Canada based company. Harjinder brings in his vast experience in I.T. & Telecom industry. He was on the Governing board of Electronics & Computer Software Export Promotion Council (an autonomous organization under Ministry of Communication & I.T. Govt. of India) from 2004 - 2006 & conceived Punjab Himachal & Chandigarh State ESC in 2005 & Chairs it till date. Secretary I.T. Punjab, Secretary I.T. Himachal & Secretary I.T. Chandigarh, Director STPI Mohali are the Govt nominees on the State ESC.
He is also a member ASSOCHAM Communications Convergence Committee. He successfully led an IT delegation in 2005 to Bavaria to celebrate "India Week" 500 years of Trade between India and Bavaria (Germany). Dr. Edmund Stoiber Minister President Bavaria & Mr. Elangovan Minister Govt of India, kicked off India Week.
Some of his past achievements are as follow:
- Launched PocketSurfer2 pilot with HCL as National Distributor in 2009
- Signed up a data & devices deal with Tata Teleservices Ltd in 2008
- Signed up NDA with Airtel and they placed a paid pilot order in 2007
- Signed up data deal with BSNL in 2007
- Signed up distribution for East India, Launched by Minister of I.T. West Bengal in 2006
- Signed up MoU with Nasscom Foundation & started pilot for Rural ICT in 2006
- Participated in Johannesburg S.A. on subsidized model of ESC, finalized distributor in 2006.
